5 Tips for what to do when you're feeling "emotionally off"

Recently I got a message with a sweet mama who said this: "Hey I’m feeling really off emotionally today. Any helpful tips?" First things first...I'm HONORED to be a safe space to land for you and grateful for anyone who does ask my advice. I LOVE sharing these things with you. So please never hesitate to reach out on social media or email! K...so let's get to it. I recommend saving this for when you need to reach for it when you have off days.

5 Tips for when you're feeling "off":


When we calm our breathing, we calm our minds. Doesn’t have to be long, even just 5-10 minutes of deep meditative breathing will help. It's a great way to calm your thoughts and return to YOU. 2️⃣Journal Grab a pen and your journal and write out the feels and find out WHY you're feeling like you're feeling and the new story you can tell yourself that's your truth! (I have a free journal to your soul pdf where I teach you simple steps to journaling and HOW to get that better feeling thought through writing too!) 3️⃣Shift how you’re feeling is by asking: What’s ONE better feeling thought that I can have right now? Doesn’t have to mean we go from feeling 0 to feeling 100, that doesn’t work long term anyway. But rather, moving up the scale of feeling a little better, a little better, a littler better. FEEL that feeling. 4️⃣Gratitude Set a timer for 5-10 minutes and list everything you’re grateful for and feel the FEELINGS of gratitude. Put yourself into the moments where you experienced so much gratitude and stay in THAT feeling for as long as you can. Then keep returning to that feeling the rest of the day (and ummm...forever! Appreciation/Gratitude is the highest vibration!) 5️⃣Put on some fun music and DANCE When you’re dancing and acting silly it’s hard to be mad! Am I right?! Remember--FUN music...no sappy or angry music. I love a good song that takes me back and makes me cry (lol! Sometimes it just hits us at the SOUL), I also LOVE rock music!!! Bonus Tips! Know what's going on energetically. I like to stay "in the know" by following a few of my favorite influencers: Spirit Daughter and Alex Myles on Instagram. The full moon affects us, what's going on in the cosmos effects us, eclipses, etc etc! Everyone is affected differently and some more than others but it's definitely really cool to be informed!

FIND YOUR JOY! Drop the to do list and go fill your cup. YES I know you have responsibilities and things that you may HAVE to do but what can you do for YOU that will bring you JOY???

Lastly...give yourself grace and know it's also ok to sit in the mud sometimes! (And truly...crying is healing too!)
